Wrath of the Titans Cast Grows & Baffles Me

Wrath of the Titans Cast Grows & Baffles MeClash of the Titans is easily one of the worst movies of 2010 and it baffles me why the studio feels the need to do a sequel. What baffles me even more is why so many actors are so anxious to take on a role in the project. Clash of the Titans not only had a horrible plot it was one of the worst 3d experiences in modern history giving post-production 3D a horrible name with fans.

From Variety comes word that Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, Edgar Ramirez and Danny Huston will star in Clash of the Titans 2 aka Wrath of the  Titans. Rosamund Pike is replacing Alexa Davalos as Queen Andromeda. Bill Nighy will play the fallen god Hephaestus and yes… Sam Worthington is returning.

The only good news with Wrath of the Titans is that they have Battle Los Angeles director Jonathon Liebsman helming the project. Although Jonathon doesnt have a huge history of action films he did a fantastic job with Battle Los Angeles and is the only reason I will be even considering seeing Wrath of the Titans.

Synopsis: A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Worthington) – the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson) – is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.

Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.

Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.

Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

I don’t think they should allow white republicans to critic fiction. They don’t understand anything that requires them to think with thier minds eye. .. lets make a peace offering. You quit writing bad reviews and i will stop trashing Fox news. Deal .

    • If and when I become an American Citizen or a white republican I will take you up on said offer :) I respect that you dont agree with me and your opinion is very much wanted. I am a huge fan of Sam Worthingtons and had very high hopes for this film and although it wasnt completely crap I was shocked how good.. it was not! Tks for the comments
