The Acacemy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror announced today the nominees for this year’s 37th annual Saturn Awards and one of the big winners is our favorite new AMC mini series The walking Dead. It got 6 nods in the Television category. They are as follows;
- Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick was nominated for Best Actor
- Sarah Wayne Callies who plays Lori was nominated for Best Actress
- Steven Yuen and Laurie Holden were nominated for Best Supporting Actor / ACtress
- Noah Emmerichwho plays Dr Jenner was nominated for Best Starring Role.
Congrats to AMC for all the nods in the Saturn Awards. Season 2 of Walking Dead will be coming in the fall of this year and will feature 7 more episodes making it 13 episodes of undead human drama. Also remember that a Walking Dead Marathon will air all the original episodes on AMC.
