Photos: Taylor Lautner’s New Movie Abduction

Twilights Taylor Lautner who is known to everyone as the ‘dude who takes his shirt off’ is looking to move beyond that with the new thriller Abduction. Abduction hits theaters on September 23rd and is a thriller that focuses on a youth (Lautner) who discovers the parents who raised him aren’t his real folks, a revelation that triggers events and leaves him running for his life.

Taylor Lautner has nothing to really show for his career at this point accept for removing his shirt in Twilight and a string of TV roles and made for TV movies. Hopefully once we see a trailer we can see if Abduction will be his break into a real career as an actor. Abduction co-stars Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver and is directed by John Singleton so on paper it looks to have some great potential!

Update: John correctly points out three projects Taylor Lautner has done which I overlooked which are Shark Boy and Lava Girl, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Valentine’s day. Tks John for keeping me honest!

Taylor Lautner’s never been in a made-for-tv movie. He did two t.v. shows, starred in the MOVIES Sharkboy and Lava girl, Cheaper by the dozen 2 and THREE twilight movies. For your information he doesn’t just “take off his shirt” in these movies, his character is a werewolf with elevated temperature. Jacob is a also a poor boy who can’t afford new clothes constantly, tearing out of your clothes and shift-changing causes you to lose clothes. It’s straight from the books. Your jealousy and bad research is pathetic.

it shows how you want to spin your article by stating he has been in a “string of tv roles” but fail to mention three motion pictures that he has been in and all have made money. The three are Shark Boy and Lava Girl, Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and Valentine’s day. Funny how you left out those three but did mention a “string of tv roles”. Give credit where credit is do or just keep your negative story to yourself.

RIGHT ON Stephanie and John! He should give Taylor Credit! He is an actor and some of the best known actors had films that did not do well! Goooo Taylor!
