In this Belfast Telegraph article, Liam Neeson goes on record and states that he’s all fired up for the “Clash Of The Titans” sequel. Neeson, while explaining why he’s excited about revisiting the role, mentions exactly what is wrong with movies of this type:
“I’ve only read half of the script and there is still some work being done – they’re on script 10 – but I think it’s going to be some kick-a** stuff and a very human story to it.”
Script number ten. Wow. That seems like a lot of rewrites for something that is still in early development. What kind of rewrites will we see once they get closer to filming?
I’m on record as saying how much I despised “Clash Of The Titans”. It was a terrible movie that made me feel badly for Neeson and Ralph Fiennes. It also furthered my belief that Sam Worthington is a horrendous actor that brings absolutely nothing to the table. The fact that Javier Bardem and James Franco are in negotiations to jump on board with this movie could potentially burn any acting goodwill that the two have gained in the past two or three years.
