It seems like not a single day passes without rumours of Scarlett Johansson appearing in yet another movie, and today is no exception. This time she may be starring in Jonathan Glazer’s (“Sexy Beast”) next film “Under The Skin.” Based on the novel by Michael Faber, the story follows “an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey – her voracious sexuality.”
Well if anything this description perfectly suits Johansson. The problem is that it’s a pre-American Film Market attachment, so she still may dropout. Especially considering all the numerous projects supposedly gearing up for her at the moment. The latter include “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” “Great Gatsby” and “We Bought a Zoo” among others.
The shooting of “Under the Skin” is scheduled to start in late spring next year.
