The Daily Mail released a new snap from the movie “My Week With Marilyn” in which Marilyn Monroe is portrayed by Michelle Williams. The movie focuses on screen icon’s relationship with Oxford graduate Colin Clark she met filming “The Prince and the Showgirl.”
Eddie Redmayne (“The Yellow Handkerchief,” “Black Death”) is playing Clark, while Kenneth Branagh is entrusted with portraying Sir Laurence Olivier. Dominic Cooper, Emma Watson and Judie Dench also have parts in the movie.
Williams is surely one of the best Monroe look-alikes out there, and considering she’s also a great actress, she’s quite likely to get an Oscar-nomination for this.
“My Week with Marilyn” is one of the several competing Monroe biopic projects now, which include Andrew Dominik’s “Blonde” with Naomi Watts in the lead.
