A teaser video for the much-anticipated sequel to director Tom Six’s twisted hit THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE, is now available on the new IFC Midnight Facebook tab. The film won’t be released until 2011, but this teaser is one not to be missed! The teaser premiered today on IFC.com And in case you didn’t experience the original phenomenon, THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE is available now nationwide on video-on-demand on IFC Midnight, and is out on dvd and blu-ray October 5.
Tom Six’s THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE) opened in spring of 2010 as one of the most talked about, and cringed about, horror films of the year. FIRST SEQUENCE, featuring an obsessed doctor who surgically joins his unsuspecting victims together, was one of IFC Films’ biggest on-demand successes of all time, and continuously sold out midnight screenings nationwide. FIRST SEQUENCE premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2009, receiving the awards for Best Horror Film and Best Actor, and also took home Best Picture at the 2009 Scream Fest. Recently, the film has been nominated for Best Villain and Most Memorable Mutilation for the 2010 Scream Awards, which air on October 19th. In conjunction with this year’s Fantastic Fest, THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE) will be re-released on video on demand, prior to the October 5th standard DVD and Blu-ray release of the film.
